The Greater Kansas City Women’s Political Caucus (GKCWPC), an affiliate of the National Women’s Political Caucus, is a multi-partisan, multicultural, grassroots organization dedicated to increasing women’s participation in politics and creating a power base designed to achieve equality for all women. We work across party lines to support women running for office.
What We Do
Recruit
Identify qualified candidates to fill seats at every level of government, from county commisions and school and water boards to the governor.
Train
Attend Campaign Training School to learn from campaign experts and elected officials how to run for office, volunteer, or manage a campaign.
Volunteer
Support candidates by writing postcards, working phone banks and more. The caucus has options for all volunteers
